Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the eleventh chapter of Captain America. This time, they continue with the twelfth.
Captain America: “Chapter Twelve: Horror on the Highway” - 15:11 (Available on Archive)

Captain America got out of the electrical room before the sparks went off, so those blood-curdling screams belonged to the henchman he was fighting.
The henchman who just killed his co-worker is captured by Cap. This leads to a big legal kerfuffle. Grant wants to pin a murder charge on him, but Cap is the only witness and if he testifies, he’d have to reveal his identity. But Gail can testify that the henchman was one of the men who held up the dog-resurrection.
However, they still need another witness, so Grant asks for Maldor’s help. Maldor agrees to help and says that this henchman was indeed present at the dog-resurrection. However, Maldor has sneakily conferred with the henchman through his lawyer. The henchman pins the blame on the now-deceased Lyman.
Grant and the henchman go to Lyman’s house to find proof, but instead find the recently revived Matson and a random henchman. Without a second’s hesitation, Grant shoots the random henchman.

Congratulations, Cap! You’ve broken Spy Smasher’s kill count record!
Matson and Grant trade shots until Grant runs out of bullets. Grant chucks his gun at Matson and they get in a fist fight. Matson gets away and jumps in The Scarab’s car. Grant follows and they shoot at each other some more. Finally, Matson shoots out Grant’s tire and his car tumbles off the road.
Should you watch it, though? The overly-convoluted scheming by The Scarab is interesting, but the fight scene is somewhat meh. Also, it’s kind of hilarious how Matson briefly thanks The Scarab for bringing him back to life, then just gets right back to business as usual. Plus, Grant Gardner does almost all of the action here, as Captain America is only in the cliffhanger resolve at the beginning!
Tune in next time for Captain America: "Chapter Thirteen: Skyscraper Plunge" (Available on Archive.)
