Consume All Media! Captain America: "Chapter Seven: Wholesale Destruction"

Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the sixth chapter of Captain America. This time, they continue with the seventh.

Cap rolls out of the way of the big bucket of rocks and climbs back up the shaft. Alas, Matson has gotten away. Again.

The newspaper publishes the list of serial numbers from the ransom money… FOR SOME REASON? Surely that should be an internal matter? Otherwise, you’re just tipping off the bad guys! And that’s exactly what happens! The Scarab is annoyed that his money is marked, so he sends Henley a very threatening note.

Grant tells Henley he can stay at his apartment while he tracks down a business card he got from one of the unconscious henchmen in the cave. Though why didn't he just arrest the henchman and question him? Because this serial is somewhat obsessed with obsessively following clues.

The card eventually leads Grant to a garage. Grant doesn’t know that Matson had just left, disguised as a delivery person in a delivery truck. Grant snoops around a little and then shoots both of the garage attendants.

This isn’t a Spy Smasher situation, though. He finds out for sure that they are in cahoots with The Scarab before he kills them.

Grant sees a stencil they had used on the delivery truck and realizes they are planning on blowing up Henley’s oil company.

Cap drives to the oil company and catches Matson and a random henchman fiddling with some pressure gauges. Matson gets away as Cap tries to turn down the pressure.

The building explodes.

Should you watch it, though? Once again, the action is very good, but it’s starting to get a little repetitive. 1. Track down the clues to The Scarab’s newest scheme. 2. Fight Matson and a random henchman. 3. Let Matson escape while you only somewhat foil The Scarab’s plans.
