Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the second chapter of Hop Harrigan. This time, they continue with the third.
Hop Harrigan: “Chapter Three: The Mystery Plane” - 18:52 (Available on Dailymotion)

Hop manages to land as Tank continues to be unfunny. They get in a car and search for Tobor.
The Chief Pilot’s men find Tobor’s parachute and a box, but not Tobor who watches them from some nearby bushes.
Hop and Tank arrive and ask the Chief Pilot’s men if they saw Tobor and they say they only saw the parachute. Hop and Tank go to check it out and hear Tobor calling for help. They head off in the direction of his voice while Tobor sneaks past them and steals their car. Tank chastises Hop for leaving his keys in the car, which would be funny if Tank wasn’t played by a terrible actor. They walk back to Gail.
Jackie and the delivery drivers radio into Hop and everyone suddenly remembers that Jackie was kind of in danger. Hop and Tank go and pick them up, then they all head to the barn with the hidden gold.
Hunter’s men come out to greet them and one of the delivery drivers pretends to be lost. Hunter’s men don’t buy it. Maybe it’s because they clearly look like the men they tried to kill. Or maybe it’s because the delivery driver says all of his lines very poorly.
Anyway, it causes enough of a distraction so that Hop and Tank can sneak up behind Hunter’s men, grab them, and tie them up. They recover the stolen gold.
Tobor has followed the Chief Pilot’s men who shot down Hop’s plane. He sees them drop off the box they stole in Hunter’s office. Tobor calls his assistant, Retner (Ernie Adams), and tells him to fly to his location in their new experimental plane.

Hop and Tank go to interrogate Hunter about the stolen gold.
While they are there, Tobor directs Retner to shoot a ray at Hunter’s building. Hop, Tank, and Hunter run out as the building explodes.

Should you watch it, though? There’s some moderately interesting plotting going on, but nearly every performance is flat. Even the delivery driver has bad delivery!
Tune in next time for Hop Harrigan: "Chapter Four: Plunging Peril" (Available on Dailymotion.)
