Consume All Media! Batman: "Chapter Seven: The Phoney Doctor"

Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the sixth chapter of Batman. This time, they continue with the seventh.

Release date: August 20th, 1943
The building conveniently collapsed around Batman, so he’s fine. He calls Colton and warns him that the henchmen may still try to take him out.
Colton hunkers down in his hotel and loads himself up with a ludicrous amount of guns.
A doctor presumably sent by Linda comes to check him out. Colton lets his guard down and the “doctor” immediately chloroforms him.
Bruce and Robin go to Colton’s hotel, but only find the rag used to knock him out. They take it back to their lab and in an excruciatingly long scene, they analyze it and see it’s from a Japanese laundry.
Daka threatens to turn Colton into a zombie if he doesn’t tell him the location of the mine. Colton pulls out a secret gun and tries to get away, but is knocked out by that caveman who’s been ominously featured in nearly every chapter.
Finally, he earns his paycheck.
Meanwhile, Batman and Robin see some henchmen getting supplies at the Japanese laundry. A fight breaks out and Batman gets thrown down an elevator shaft. Or rather, a very obvious dummy gets thrown down an elevator shaft.
Usually at this point, the henchmen would just assume he’s dead. But they decide to lower the elevator down on top of him very slowly. Just in case.
Should you watch it, though? Colton continues to be over-the-top in a delightful way, but not a lot happens in this chapter. The fight scenes are underwhelming as well.
