Consume All Media! Atom Man vs. Superman: "Chapter Four: Superman Meets Atom Man!"

Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the third chapter of Atom Man vs. Superman. This time, they continue with the fourth chapter.

Atom Man vs. Superman: “Chapter Four: Superman Meets Atom Man!” - 16:22 (Available on Amazon)

Clark sees Lois and Jimmy pass out with his X-ray vision. He takes the time to change into Superman, goes in, pulls them out, then leaves and comes back as Clark. There's so many of these quick change scenes in these serials where it seems like more trouble than it's worth. Just go in and save them as Clark! It would save you a lot of time.

Anyway, Professor Stone turns off the fire in his office and tells them all to leave.

Later, a henchman brings stolen goods to Luthor, but Luthor discovers he was keeping some of the goods for himself. Luthor places the henchman in a machine and sends his atoms into the Empty Doom. Harsh.

At the Daily Planet, a birthday party is thrown for Lois.

Clark uses his powers to help her blow out her candles. Have I mentioned how adorable these characters are? They're adorable.

Perry gets onto everyone for eating cake on company time and they all return to work. However, the second he's gone, Clark and Jimmy dive back into the cake. ADORABLE.

Lois opens a present and inside is the coin. She is teleported into Luthor's cave where she meets the Atom Man. She seems thoroughly unimpressed with him.

The Planet tunes into a radio broadcast written by Luthor and delivered by Lois. She immediately deviates from the script and basically says to take down this glitter-headed stooge. I love Lois Lane so much.

Superman flies into Perry's office, says he has a plan, and flies right back out. He finds a big rock and throws it into the sky.

It somehow turns into a glowing hot meteor.

The meteor crashes into the earth and probably causes all sorts of damage.

That's kind of messed up, Superman.

News gets out that the "meteor" might be from Krypton. Luthor has his men steal it from a museum. Superman follows the henchmen back to their lair from a discreet distance.

He busts into Luthor's lair and destroys the "meteor." Superman tries to use his x-ray vision on Atom Man's helmet, but it doesn't work due to it being lined with lead.

Atom Man threatens to destroy Lois. Lois tells Superman to call his bluff because she is a badass. However, Superman is a softy and he stands down.

The Atom Man puts Superman in his machine and sends his atoms into the Empty Doom.

The Atom Man uses another device to knock Lois unconscious. Luthor's henchmen put her in a car and roll it towards a cliff.

Should you watch it, though? This one has a lot going for it. The birthday party, Clark's weird meteor ploy, Lois being an absolute badass, Luthor sending Superman (and his own henchman!) into the mysterious Empty Doom. I absolutely love it.
