Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the fourth chapter of Atom Man vs. Superman. This time, they continue with the fifth chapter.
Atom Man vs. Superman: “Chapter Five: Atom Man Tricks Superman” - 16:35 (Available on Amazon)

Superman flies in and grabs the car.

Did you think Superman was going to let a runaway car go ungrabbed?
Superman tells Lois that his atomic structure is different from humans, so Luthor's machine didn't work on him. He just vibrated really fast to appear invisible to make Luthor think it worked. So that's a thing Superman can do, I guess. He never does it again, though.
The Atom Man has teleported out of his hideout, so Superman plans another trap for him. He knows he wants plutonium, so they set up a fake plutonium delivery. Luthor figures this is a trap, but sends a henchman in anyway because he has a counterplan.
A man is handcuffed to a briefcase that presumably contains plutonium and sent off on a train. Lois and Clark are also on the train keeping an eye on him. They're also keeping an eye on each other, each expecting the other to try and steal their story. It's super cute.
A henchman dressed as a train attendant approaches the handcuffed man. Clark's x-ray vision reveals that he has a gun tucked in his pants. Clark excuses himself to get some water, but Lois goes with him because she's not going to let him do anything sneaky. That immediately backfires when Clark spills all of his water on her and takes off.
He changes into Superman and flies out of one window and into another.

Superman grabs the henchman and flies him all the way to the Daily Planet. The chief of police offers to get a lie detector test so they can properly interrogate him, but Superman opts to just stick him out of the window and toss him into the air a couple times until he spills the info.

The henchman tells them that the train job was just a diversion so that the Atom Man could actually steal a package from Central Station. Before he can say anything else, Luthor teleports him out of there.
Superman flies to Central Station and X-rays all of the packages, but can't find anything. After he leaves, some henchmen come in and grab a box of nails that have somehow turned into plutonium because of Superman's X-ray vision. Because science.

Lois and Jimmy see the henchmen leaving with the package. While Jimmy calls into the Planet from a payphone, Lois pretends to interview the henchmen for the paper and asks them what's the kindest thing they've ever done. Then they do a very not nice thing and kidnap her.
They tie her up in a barn. Jimmy shows up to try and rescue her, but gets knocked out by the henchmen. They are both locked inside the barn with a car spewing exhaust.
Should you watch it, though? The train trap is kind of a rehash of the meteor ploy from the previous chapter, but Luthor turning it around into his own trap is nice. Though the trick being that he gets Superman to X-ray some nails into plutonium makes no sense at all. Also Superman's interrogation methods are questionable, but fun.
