Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the seventh chapter of smashing spies. This time, they continue with the eighth chapter.
Spy Smasher "Chapter Eight: Sea Raiders" - 16:48 (Available on YouTube.)

Spy Smasher knocks over the ray gun before it can destroy the bomber planes and (in a rather impressive stunt) jumps out of the tower before it explodes.

The Mask concocts a new plan to use mines on ships. Corby and Jack track the mines down to a warehouse and go to check it out. Jack and Alan use their twin powers to fool the men working there. Alan goes into the warehouse with Corby, but Corby leaves the warehouse with Jack.
Hidden inside, Alan watches The Mask’s men load mines into a truck. Then he knocks over a bunch of boxes like an idiot. Another big warehouse fight happens.
Eventually, Spy Smasher gets away and hides in one of the mine boxes on the truck.
The Mask’s men load the boxes onto a boat. Once they are out to sea, Spy Smasher bursts out and fights the men. The Mask’s nearby U-boat sees this and torpedoes the boat.

How much do you wanna bet Spy Smasher jumped out before it exploded?
Should you watch it, though? It’s getting very repetitive now. While the warehouse fight is decently choreographed, it’s the third warehouse fight we’ve had in this serial. The boat fight is new, but it’s also not as exciting as it could be. The only bit that was mildly interesting was utilizing Jack and Alan’s twinness to fool people, but it didn’t really amount to much because Alan was uncharacteristically clumsy.
Tune in next time for Spy Smasher "Chapter Nine: Highway Racketeers" (Available on YouTube.)
