Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the fourth chapter of Hop Harrigan. This time, they continue with the fifth.

Hop and Tank drive after them. Jackie hangs back with Gail, but he swears revenge. God, I love that kid.
Hunter’s men drive to the barn where they swap out cars. Hop and Tank sneak in and realize they’ve lost them. So absolutely nothing exciting happens.
Hunter explains to Tobor that they don’t want to kill him, they just want to keep his invention out of the wrong hands. Tobor seems to buy this and says he will need to call his assistant to fly the plane over.
Arnold received a letter saying that Tobor had been kidnapped and that he needs to meet someone in the desert to make a deal. Arnold wants Hop to check it out. So Hop decides to fly over the meeting area to scope it out first.
Tobor calls Retner and tells him to fly in and rescue him and destroy everyone else. He didn’t buy it! Unfortunately, Hunter is listening in on this conversation.
In the air, Hop and Retner spot each other’s planes. Over the radio, Tobor tells Retner to land and take out Hop.
They land and meet up. Retner pulls a gun on them, but Jackie jumps out of the plane and tackles him. Hop decides to take Retner’s plane to get Tobor, as Tobor will be expecting Retner.
Hop lands and Hunter’s men surround the plane. Hunter’s men also use the Ray Gun to shoot at the plane Jackie, Tank, and Retner are flying.
Hop is taken to Tobor where a shoot-out starts. Hop is seemingly shot with the Ray Gun.
Should you watch it, though? Jackie continues to be the best and Tank continues to be the worst. Nothing else really happens. Just a lot of shuffling characters around.
