Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the seventh chapter of Hop Harrigan. This time, they continue with the eighth.

Turns out Tank only stumbled. Alas.
Retner shows up and starts shooting back. Hop and Tank sneak around accomplishing nothing as the bad guys drive away.
They go inside and check out the radio, accomplishing nothing as it doesn’t appear to work.
They run outside and shoot at a car, accomplishing nothing as all of their bullets miss their marks.
Hop jumps on the car and punches the driver until he stops. A minor accomplishment!
They ask the driver where Tobor is, accomplishing nothing because he says nothing.
There’s a lot of cars driving around and it’s very boring and accomplishes nothing.
There’s another shootout, accomplishing nothing as Hop and Tank continue to be bad shots. But not as bad as the henchmen who accidentally shoot one of their own. I find this mildly funny because they are getting more done than Hop ever could.
Tank also finds this funny, but in a way that’s not funny.
They bandage up the shot man and give him some food.
Hop has Retner fly Tobor’s plane for Arnold, while Craven gets a call from Hunter saying that Hop has one of his men.
Ballard drops by and wants to see Hop, but accomplishes nothing as he is told Hop is too busy to talk.
Hop has Hunter’s henchman call Hunter and say that he got away and that he’ll be bringing in the Ray Gun truck. But Hunter is aware this is a trick and decides to lead them into a trap.
Ballard drops by again, but accomplishes nothing because Hop isn’t there. He’s out driving a truck into a trap. But Ballard bumps into Retner on his way out. Ballard tells Retner he wants to buy Tobor’s invention.
Hop and Tank park the truck in a room that proceeds to fill up with smoke.
Should you watch it, though? NO. Get out while you still can! Though, Ballard does bring a nice air of mystery to what is otherwise an incredibly dull affair.
Tune in next time for Hop Harrigan: "Chapter Nine: Dr. Tobor's Revenge" (Available on Dailymotion.)
