Consume All Media! Blackhawk: "Chapter Two: Blackhawk Traps a Traitor!"
Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the first chapter of Blackhawk. This time, they continue with the second chapter.
Blackhawk: “Chapter Two: Blackhawk Traps a Traitor!” - 16:40 (Available on Dailymotion)
We rewind a little and see that Chop Chop gets into a fight with Boris. As a result, the explosives go off too soon and miss the plane.
After a brief shootout, Boris takes Chop Chop hostage and drives off for a secret hideout with the Blackhawks in hot pursuit. Boris eventually ditches the car and rigs it to explode. One of the Blackhawks triggers the bomb.
They all get out of the way, though. So no worries. (I wasn't worried.)
Laska calls the Leader who says he wants them to ditch this hideout and go destroy a defense plant. They leave after setting up a bomb.
The Blackhawks arrive, find Chop Chop, and stop the bomb. Chop Chop tells them about the defense plant. They call the plant and learn there's someone there pretending to be a Blackhawk. They tell them that's an imposter and that they are on their way.
Once Blackhawk gets there, the imposter starts a fire.
They get into a fight as the flames grow. A fiery tower of boxes falls on Blackhawk.
Should you watch it, though? The chase scenes and fight scenes are decent enough, but I still don't feel like I know or care about any of the characters.
Tune in next time for Blackhawk: "Chapter Three: In the Enemy's Hideout" (Available on Dailymotion.)
