Consume All Media! Blackhawk: "Chapter Three: In the Enemy's Hideout"
Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the second chapter of Blackhawk. This time, they continue with the third chapter.
Blackhawk: “Chapter Three: In the Enemy's Hideout” - 16:09 (Available on Dailymotion)
Blackhawk gets out of the fiery boxes and some cops shoot the imposter. (The Blackhawks never kill, so they won't be getting a kill count. But that doesn't mean people don't die.)
Laska picks up who she thinks is Boris, but is actually Stan. At the hideout, Stan manages to call Blackhawk HQ and tells them to set up a trap. When he's caught, he says that he was actually talking to the Leader who is sending them on a mission.
After the henchmen and Stan leave, Laska calls the Leader who says he definitely said no such thing. She stops her henchmen from driving into the trap and they head to an airfield.
The Blackhawks get bored of waiting around for Stan to show up, so they drive off and conveniently see the bad guys heading for the airfield.
Stan is tied to a post while the bad guys try to start a plane. The Blackhawks show up and start a fight. In the tussle, the plane gets knocked into gear with no pilot. The plane heads straight for the tied-up Stan.
Should you watch it, though? Blackhawk himself continues to be a non-entity, but the scenes between Stan and Laska are tense and interesting. She doesn't trust him because they've already used the twin ploy, so she knows what's up. The cliffhanger is fun as well.
Tune in next time for Blackhawk: "Chapter Four: The Iron Monster!" (Available on Dailymotion.)
