Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the thirteenth chapter of Atom Man vs. Superman. This time, they continue with the fourteenth chapter.

In one of the longest retcons to a cliffhanger yet, Lois passes out when she sees the flying saucer heading toward them. Clark runs into the back of the plane, changes into Superman, grabs Lois and flies her to the ground. Then the saucer crashes into the plane and explodes. He quickly changes back into Clark before Lois wakes up. He then says that Superman saved them.
Why did he change into Superman for all of that? Lois was passed out! What if the saucer had smashed into the plane while he was changing? Why didn't he just maneuver the plane away from the saucer? Why didn't he fly out and stop the saucer? He could have saved the plane! There are so many questionable decisions being made here!
Anyway, the police arrive and block all the roads. Luthor makes a broadcast saying they have 15 minutes to back off or he'll cause trouble. To prove he's serious, he activates the sonic vibrator.

Whoops, sorry. Wrong picture.

The sonic vibrator causes earthquakes in Metropolis.
Superman, Jimmy, and Lois go to look for Luthor. His henchmen prepare a rocket for their arrival.

They shoot it at Superman, but he just catches it and throws it back at them (which is again reused footage from the first serial). The henchmen dive into a cave entrance and are sealed up inside.
Luthor sends a rocket towards Metropolis. Superman jumps on top of it.

At the Planet, Perry asks Jimmy to take a picture of the approaching rocket. Jimmy throws Perry the camera and runs out. Perry gets ready to take the picture when he realizes the rocket is heading straight for him.
Should you watch it, though? A lot of this chapter is killing time to get to that glorious cliffhanger.
