So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the second chapter of Adventures of Captain Marvel. This time, they continue with the third chapter.

The blade of the guillotine just breaks when it hits Captain Marvel’s skin. We’ve already seen him deflect bullets, so I’m not sure why we’d be surprised by this.
However, Carlyle can’t deflect bullets and is shot and killed.
Later, Betty goes to get Carlyle’s lens, but her car is captured and put in a truck by Barnett. She secretly uses a radio to clue Billy in about what’s going on.
After getting what they need, Barnett’s men jump from the moving truck into a nearby car. Luckily, Captain Marvel flies to the truck and stops it before it plummets off of a cliffside.
Billy tells Betty that he’s going to fly to Carlyle’s in his plane (I guess he has a plane?) to hopefully get there before Barnett. Betty updates the expedition members (and unintentionally The Scorpion). Later, she totally eavesdrops on a phone call and hears the Scorpion planning to blow up Billy’s plane.
Betty and Whitey try to contact Billy, but his communications have been cut. His plane explodes and Billy presumably dies. CLIFFHANGER!
Should you watch it, though?: Yes! The car chase is wonderfully exciting and impressive. The only downside is I’m not sure the logic of everyone racing to get to Carlyle’s entirely makes sense. In the time it takes Billy to get to his airplane, Betty drives to where the expedition members meet, explains the situation, and the Scorpion arranges a bomb to be placed on Billy’s plane. The timeline is reeeeeal wobbly there. But still… fun car chase!
