Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the first animated short of 1942. This time, they continue with another Superman animated short.

Perry White sends Lois Lane to report on a frozen dinosaur being shown in a museum. Clark asks Lois if he should tag along and she says he shouldn’t because he’d probably faint.
At the museum, Lois gets an overview of how they keep the dinosaur frozen. Her guide sets down an oil can that accidentally falls into the refrigeration unit, gumming up the works. The dinosaur thaws out, breaks free, and causes some chaos.

Superman gets wind of this, flies in, and rescues Lois from the rubble of the museum. He tells her to go back to the office and she obviously will not do this.
The dino tears up a dam, flooding a town. Superman creates a new dam by throwing a giant boulder into the river. Though… that doesn’t really help the people who were already drowned…
Then the dino destroys a bridge and Superman rebuilds it. Superman then throws part of the suspension bridge around the dino’s legs, tripping him up.
Lois takes this opportunity to get up close and personal for a picture of the dino’s face.
Then she gets eaten.

Superman rescues Lois and tells her to stay out of trouble. She says “Yes, m’lord” which obviously means that she will not do that.
Superman punches the dino and restrains it with a lamppost. Later, the dino is put in a zoo.
Lois gets the scoop and asks where Clark was the whole time. Clark says he probably fainted. Then he winks at the camera.
Should you watch it, though? While still following the same formula, it keeps things fresh by having a great big monster fight! Not to mention, this giant lizard destruction predates the original Godzilla film by 12 years!
Tune in next time for another animated adventure with Superman: "The Bulleteers" (Available on YouTube.)
