Consume All Media! Congo Bill: "Chapter Eleven: A Desperate Chance"

Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they’re watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the tenth chapter of Congo Bill. This time, they continue with the eleventh chapter.

Congo Bill: “Chapter Eleven: A Desperate Chance” - 16:16 (Available on YouTube)

Bill just pretended to be shot. Again. Congo Bill’s signature move!

Bill frees himself, then frees the Queen.

Cameron and Kahla track down Bocar’s men while Bill drops the Queen off at the inn.

Cameron and Kahla are caught and taken to Bocar. They inform him that Congo Bill is still alive and Bocar is again very annoyed that his men are incredibly bad at killing this dude.

Bocar locks Cameron and Kahla in a building, but Kahla escapes through a chimney.

Back at the inn, Kleeg tells Bill that Bocar has a secret cabin. Bernie overhears this and questions Kleeg about it. Kleeg says it was a ploy to get Bill to find Bocar’s cabin for Bernie. I’m just now realizing how many characters have “B” names.

Kahla runs into Bill and they go to rescue Cameron.

As they go into the building, Bernie’s men knock out Kahla, Bill, and Cameron. They start looking for the letter, but one of them casually tosses a cigarette to the ground, setting a barrel of something on fire.

The building explodes.

Should you watch it, though? The opening cliffhanger resolution is incredibly underwhelming and the cliffhanger at the end is badly written. The rest is just characters shuffling around.

Tune in next time for Congo Bill: "Chapter Twelve: The Lair of the Beast" (Available on YouTube.)
