Consume All Media! Blackhawk: "Chapter Nine: Blackhawk Tempts Fate!"
Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the eighth chapter of Blackhawk. This time, they continue with the ninth chapter.

In a blatant retcon, when Blackhawk shot the saucer, it went down and didn't hit the plane at all.
They land the plane and fight the henchmen. One of the henchmen, Dyke (Pierce Lyden), hijacks their plane, but he is knocked out and taken to the Blackhawks headquarters.
While waiting outside, Dyke asks a Blackhawk mechanic if he can have a cigarette. The mechanic gets cigarettes out of the Dyke's pocket, but when he opens the case, it gasses him.

Dyke steals the Element X and a (real) car. He returns to Laska and says he doesn't have the Element X. He then sneaks away to call Blackhawk. They make plans to exchange the Element X for money.
A henchman overhears this and confronts Dyke while he's waiting for the Blackhawks to show up. The Blackhawks do show up and everyone starts fighting. In the process, the henchman shoots Dyke.
The Blackhawks find a locker key on Dyke's body and go to a cold storage company to check it out. They find the Element X there, but are attacked by more henchmen. At some point, there's a gas leak that knocks out all of the Blackhawks.
Should you watch it, though? The double-crossing henchman idea is interesting in theory, but poorly executed (in more ways than one).
Tune in next time for Blackhawk: "Chapter Ten: Chase for Element X!" (Available on Dailymotion.)
