Joe Heath is a big fan of comic books and watching things in order. So they made this spreadsheet containing every serial, short, film, television episode, commercial, motion comic, and web series based on a comic book. Now they're watching them all. Previously, Joe watched the tenth chapter of Blackhawk. This time, they continue with the eleventh chapter.

Blackhawk: “Chapter Eleven: Forced Down!” - 15:11 (Available on Dailymotion)

Blackhawk and the henchman land in the back of a truck, so they're perfectly fine. Don't. Worry. About. It.

The henchmen get away, but have a leaky radiator, so the Blackhawks follow the trail.

Back at another one of those identical hideouts, the henchmen listen to some instrumental guitar music on the radio. It's not particularly good. But that's fine, because it's actually a coded message.

The henchmen spot the Blackhawks coming, so they leave through a secret back exit. The Blackhawks come in and listen to the music and find part of the message decoded. They're going to Mexico!

Blackhawk and Chuck chase the henchmen by plane, but the henchmen shoot them down. Once they land, the Blackhawks hitchhike with a Mexican stereotype.

The writers think they are being progressive by having Blackhawk say "They're hospitable people."

Blackhawk and Chuck ask the local police for help and it's arranged for them to be taken to a hacienda owned by Borrego, a man who was almost assassinated recently who might be connected to the bad guys they're chasing. But they have to travel by hay cart.

A roll in the hay.
A roll in the hay.

The henchmen are warned about this via guitar code.

"I will not play Free Bird."
"I will not play Free Bird."

The henchmen shoot at the cart and set it on fire.

A flaming chariot!
A flaming chariot!

The henchmen kill the cart driver and the cart does a flip.

Blackhawk down!
Blackhawk down!

Should you watch it, though? The cart scene is pretty exciting and the change of scenery is nice (though it comes with a bit of racism). I also legitimately love the idea of a musical code. That's the smartest thing this serial has done.
